Aaron Jablonski
Aaron Jablonski is a digital artist and creative technologist from Germany, living in Berlin and working with Augmented Reality, CGI, experimental video. He studied in a degree between music, art, and engineering where his interest in creative coding and interactive frameworks like Unity was sparked. Under the name ExitSimulation, he releases digital creations and extended reality experiences that examine the relationship we have with technology and social media.
Be it with the Beauty_GAN filter for Dazed Beauty magazine or AR filters for the music video “People” by the band The 1975 – the aesthetics of Aaron’s creations are shaped by postgender and posthuman approaches as well as dystopia. A lot of Aaron’s work is based on monitoring, tracking, scanning but also examines how we could possibly achieve a healthier symbiosis with technology.
Developing immersive experiences that explore our perception and altered states of mind. Sculpting abstract creatures in Virtual Reality. Exploring surreal and often dystopian ideas through Augmented Reality.

Title: Principia Discordia
Fileformat: .MOV
Year: 2020
Artwork description:
“The Aneristic Principle is that of APPARENT ORDER; the Eristic Principle is that of APPARENT DISORDER. Both order and disorder are man made concepts and are artificial divisions of PURE CHAOS, which is a level deeper than is the level of distinction making.”
The Principia Discordia, a book written in 1963, as the basis for a parody religion establishes the principles of Greek goddess Eris, the goddess of disorder and being and Aneris, the goddess of order and non-being. Discordian belief states that only by rejecting these principles you can perceive the true nature of reality which is ultimately chaos.
This piece is a free interpretation of these Discordian principles.
